About
Geb is a folk singer, storyteller and artist from the rural countryside of Bedfordshire. He writes about love, loss and home, capturing vivid lyricism with finger-picked melodies.
Inspired by the likes of Woody Guthrie, Johnny Cash, Gregory Alan Isakov, Lucy Spraggan, Frank Turner, Bob Dylan, Carol King, Will Varley, Robert Johnson and Nick Drake, Geb focuses on refining his lyrics to tell his own stories in ways that will resonate with anyone. Combined with his self taught fingerstyle guitar, the results are folk ballads, love songs and the blues....
Born in a small village in the south of Bedfordshire, Geb was raised surrounded by a dispriportionate number of professional musicians, several local bands and even a tiny local music festival. After first performing publically aged 9 with his dad, he grew to develop a love of guitar and an appreciation for the intricacies of songwriting.
Geb now lives and studies in Sheffield, where his career as a solo musician is beginning to take off, having gone from playing empty pub rooms to packed London shows in a matter of months. In his spare time he writes stories, draws birds and swims.
